Position Objective:Provide patient services using imaging modalities, perform radiographic procedures, apply principles of radiation protection and evaluate radiographs for technical quality.

Position Requirements:ARRT registered, State of Delaware license, trained on PACS systems.

Detailed Responsibilities: 

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic services on PACS (Fusion One) system.
  • Update information as appropriated in EMR and PACS.
  • Review pertinent clinical information with physician’s/staff prior to exam.
  • Preparation of x-ray room prior to exam.
  • Explain radiology procedure to patient
  • Ensure patient is positioned properly according to protocol.

  • Collect patient demographic information and nature of complaint/injury on new patients that contact the office by phone, enter data in the computer, schedule appointments.

First State Surgery Center is seeking F/T, P/T and Casual/Per Diem experienced Operating Room Nurses for Ambulatory Surgery Center. Minimum of 2 years recent operating room  experience with Orthopaedic experience strongly preferred.

The primary function of the Operating Room Nurse is that of professional caregiver who provides patient care and assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the ambulatory care patient during surgical procedures.
