Today just from general conversation her staff Courtney noticed something off and Dr. Seifert examined the issue and sent me to the E.R. which I was informed I have a DVT. I will admit, I was nervous to go with Dr. Seifert because of ONE not so great review from someone we knew. But, we actually ended up being referred to her by the doctor we were originally supposed to see, because he didn’t specialize in tri-malleolar fractures! Anyway, I say that to say this, Dr. Seifert and her team have all been amazing! My appointments are always fairly quick. Her staff are really friendly and helpful! And Dr. Seifert herself has been very kind and makes me laugh every time I’m in her office. She took her time answering all of our questions in the appointment before surgery. She squeezed us into her schedule the same week I was injured and even went out of her way to make sure we got the appropriate documentation required to cancel/get a refund for the cruise my husband and I could no longer attend because of my broken ankle. I had a serious ankle injury and was being seen by a different doctor… after being out of work for more than 3 months that doctor told me it would be a lifelong issue and there wasn’t much more he could do outside of physical therapy. She said I would be non weight bearing for one month. Then a walking boot. Then a sneaker. Her timeline was accurate. The other place wanted to have me non weight bearing for 8-12 weeks! The whole crew is awesome even at the surgery center. The nurse Tessa did her best to calm me down and make sure I was ok. My visit was a fit-in; I was squeezed in that morning. Staff was very courteous and professional. You could tell they knew what they were doing and everything was running like clockwork (even though I knew I was "the wrench" thrown into their schedule. Dr Seifert was very friendly and prompt. I saw Doctor Seifert after injuring my ankle and having x-rays taken. She was well-prepared and familiar with my x-rays before I arrived. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. Since I only had a minimal break in the ankle along with a sprain, there was no need for a cast.
